Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of wearlucina.com and anything you buy from it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the site.
In these terms, "Lucina", "we" and "us" mean the operator of wearlucina.com. "You" means the person using the site or placing the order.
1. Who can order
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. By ordering, you confirm the payment method is yours or that you have permission to use it, and that the information you give us is accurate.
2. Products and descriptions
We try hard to describe Lucina Wrap™ accurately, including what it does not do. Colours can vary slightly between screens, and we may improve materials, components or packaging over time without notice — the function will remain the same or better.
Lucina Wrap™ is a wearable comfort and wellness device. It is not a medical device, it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and nothing we publish is medical advice. Please read our Medical Disclaimer before using it — it is part of these terms.
3. Orders, prices and payment
- Your order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we send you a shipping confirmation.
- All prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where applicable. Shipping is free.
- Prices can change at any time, but never after you've paid.
- We may refuse or cancel an order — for example if a product is out of stock, if a price or description was obviously wrong, if we suspect fraud, or if the order looks like a reseller order. If we cancel after you've paid, you get a full refund, promptly.
- Promotional codes can't be combined unless we say so, have no cash value, and can be withdrawn at any time before you use them.
4. Shipping, returns and warranty
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy. Returns, refunds and the 12-month warranty are covered by our Returns & Refunds Policy. Both are part of these terms.
Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, we deal with it under the Shipping Policy — you are not left holding it.
5. Using the site
Don't use the site to break the law, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape it at a scale that degrades it for others, resell our products commercially without written permission, or interfere with its security. We can suspend access if you do.
6. Reviews and anything else you post
If you send us a review, photo, video or testimonial, you keep ownership of it and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it on our site, in emails and in advertising. You confirm it's your own honest experience, that you have the right to share it, and that anyone identifiable in it has agreed. We may edit for length or clarity, but we won't change what you meant. We may decline to publish anything, and we don't publish reviews we know to be fake — including positive ones.
You can withdraw permission for your content at any time by emailing us; we'll remove it from anything we control going forward.
7. Our content
The Lucina name, logo, product design, photography, copy and site design belong to us and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without written permission.
8. Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose in relation to the site itself. This does not affect the express 60-night guarantee and 12-month warranty we give on Lucina Wrap™, or any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
We don't promise the site will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the site or a product is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site or a product.
11. Governing law and disputes
Lucina is operated from Finland, and these terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of Finland — except where a mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country of residence gives you the right to bring it there instead, in which case that right stands.
Before starting any formal proceeding, please email hello@wearlucina.com. Most things we can sort out in a day, and we'd rather do that.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
13. General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it. These terms, together with the policies linked above, are the whole agreement between us.
